Hi! My name is Craig Windes.

Six years ago, I made the leap from PCs back to the Mac platform. I say back, because my first computing experiences took place in a Southern California elementary school Apple IIe lab in the eighties. After living in Central America during the nineties, a friend gave me a clone era Mac to do some writing on. When it crashed and lost a poetic opus I was in the middle of I abandoned the Mac for almost ten years.
It was the first iMac G5 that brought me back.
The first time I saw it I was enthralled. In my last year of college I somehow convinced my wife we had to have one. The day we unboxed it, we set it on the desk next to our old PC and started transferring files. I walked away for a few minutes, and when I returned I saw this...
It was as if the old Microsoft driven beast was giving up the ghost, and blessing our new computer.
It was truly MAGICAL.
Since that day, I have thrown myself full force into understanding how Macs works, and what amazing things I can make them do. I have a profound respect and understanding for the ability they have to unlock their user's creative potential. I have experienced this in my personal and professional life, making movies, art and music with my family and talking on the mantel of Minister of Sparks and Lightning on the Nickelodeon Hit Yo Gabba Gabba! On Yo Gabba Gabba! I provided all of the I.T. support, computer purchase and configuration, networking, storage, server management, digital workflow, software troubleshooting and day to day tech wizardry for each season of the show. This invaluable experience, working with amazingly creative individuals in a high tech environment, has prepared me to help you make incredible things with your Apple devices. Whether its your first home movie , your next feature film, or running your small business, I'm ready to make it easy, safe and fun for you.
So what do I have to offer? I think I can offer you the experiences that I have had and will continue to have as a part of the tech and entertainment industries. On this site, I will share with you my hands on experience with hardware and software, tips and tricks I have learned and my rants and raves about all things digital. I will also introduce you to my friends and clients as they make amazing things with their Macs. I hope you will be one of them. I've chosen section titles to help identify the nature of each post.
